Yes. Completely free. No ads, no premium tier, no catch. We built it because we needed it.
Nope. It's a web app — just go to app.dirtylaundry.club in your browser. You can add it to your home screen and it works like a native app. We're also working on an App Store version.
One person creates a group and shares an invite link. Everyone else taps the link and joins. That's it. You can have flatmates, partners, family — whoever shares your household.
Yes! Parents can set members as "kid" role. Kids can join without an email (just a name), complete chores, and earn pocket money. They can't add chores or change settings — parents stay in control.
Parents set a rate (e.g. 2p per point). Kids see their earnings in real money instead of just points. They can set savings goals like "£20 for a new game" with a progress bar. Parents mark payouts when they pay up.
Each chore has a point value set by whoever created it. Harder chores are worth more. You can boost chores with bounties to make them more tempting. The chore of the day is worth double.
The group owner can set a chore split — each person gets a percentage based on their availability. The reports score you against your share, not everyone else's. So someone with a 25% share who hits their target is doing just as well as someone with 50%.
We built it with ADHD in mind. The "Just Do One" mode shows you one chore at a time instead of an overwhelming list. Chore roulette takes the decision-making away. Points and reactions give you the dopamine hit your brain needs. And push notifications act as your external memory.
Your data is stored securely and only visible to your group members. We don't sell data, don't show ads, and don't use tracking. Read our full privacy policy.
You can, but it's designed for groups. The leaderboard, nudges, and reactions only make sense with other people. That said, the points and streaks work fine for solo motivation.
Go to app.dirtylaundry.club, create an account, start a group, and pick a starter pack (student flat, family home, or couple). Takes about 60 seconds.
